My name is Jonny Moody
I have worked professionally from my own studio for more than 10 years. In addition to being a Producer, I am a session guitarist, writer, and mixer. I have worked in all genres of music, as well as voice over work, and work for TV. I am proud to say that all my work has come from client recommendation and word of mouth.
Following the year that was 2020, and having all of my live work as a Musician and Sound Engineer halted, my ‘home studio’ was fast becoming purely a Professional Studio with consistent and encouraging results for my clients.
I know full well that anyone with a laptop today can potentially call them selves a “Producer”. However, I realised very quickly that I was now being asked to do more mixing, tracking and over dubbing than ever before. I came to the conclusion that people kept coming back because the results spoke for themselves (so they tell me!). The sound and vibe I achieved came from my intimate knowledge of how to use the space, my mics, set up and the vast array of instruments I have to hand. It may not be Abbey Road Studio 2 but it does sound fantastic and...it’s a fraction of the cost!
I’ve now decided to open the doors of my space to the public via this website and look forward to seeing where the next chapter of Mood Market Studios takes us.

Because I care. If I say yes to your enquiry, I assure you that I am fully invested in achieving great results for your project. I am sure that if you are coming from writing songs and performing at home and onto your phone, you’d feel more at ease in my cosy studio over a stuffy expensive space.
Mood Market isn’t a pristine white space that you’d be afraid to breath in - it has evolved from a home Studio into a Professional and comfortable space. I want you to be able to relax and be able to deliver your best performances. It’s all about feeling that you are able to work for what’s best for the song.
Other reasons to consider me as your producer, are that I’m a multi instrumentalist confidently moving from guitar, piano, drums, percussion and bass. Meaning if you sent a demo no matter how simple, I could produce a full band backing track without the extra cost for session players! I can become YOUR Studio Band!
The lead vocal SOUND is often overlooked by artists, so I pride myself on being able to to find the right, and the best way to deliver your unique voice onto the track we will craft together.
As a guitarist I have played live all over Europe and North America, both solo and as a key member of numerous bands. As a studio musician I have been lucky enough to have worked alongside some of the brightest talents that the U.K. has to offer, and I have learned a great deal from all of them. As a live Sound Engineer I have learned to keep things simple without loosing sight of the goal of keeping clients happy. As a Mix Engineer and producer, I serve the song above all else. I like to do my research into the artist and get to know their influences and respect their vision for a project. I am also happy to coach you from start to finish if you’d prefer.
